got mine today, beautiful!

Pics/video or it didn't happen :-)

I am waiting for mine still, but I'm in Afghanistan, so will have to wait for APO forwarder to get it to me. Congrats! How does it write?

Woo hoo! The mailman cometh! I apologize for the quick IPhone unboxing pictures, but I wanted to get on to the real fun of writing with this superbly balanced gem.

My pics don't begin to show the beauty of the rosewood finish or the outstanding nib. Syd's do a better job, and I'm sure Jim McCarty or someone else will post better shots. I'm kind of embarrassed to post these and they may be a disservice to Syd and the new pen owners, but here are some quick and dirties.

This doesn't begin to show the beauty of the nib. The depth of the frosted area and the crispness of the nomenclature are superb!

The red feed wasn't a selling point to me when I first saw the sample pens, but it IS kind of cool!

Really like the look of that pen uncapped. In other words, most pens look boring without their caps, however this looks most elegant and refined. I think it has something to do with the contrasting threads, and that great contrasting finish nib design where a fraction of a mm shines through around the nib edge and slit. I spend more time lookng at my pens uncapped than capped, so I very much like the design.

(bleep), I just saw the tracking and mine was sent to my billing address rather than my shipping address and there's no one to safeguard my box until I go back home in March...damn, I thought I was specific in my shipping address when I placed the order.

Will try to contact someone to check my front door and ship it to me overseas.

Got my rosewood Decoband two days ago.........WOW!!!!

It's been about 3.5 months since I started this thread...........

But now that I have this incredible pen, it feels like it was well worth the wait......

Kudos to Syd and W-E for such a unique, well-crafted, gorgeous pen and a great writer too!!!

A full review is coming soon. In the mean time here is a writing sample as people are most interested in the abilities of the superflex nib.
