Wave the flag for New Conklin All American styles!

Isn´t it ironic that not a single piece of this model is actually made in America?

 

In fact, it seems that in some distant Far East country the engraver did not even know how to spell OHIO properly (at least in the first batch). In the Goulet most useful video review you can find many relevant and interesting details.

 

That said, I do enjoy my Yellowstone with the black stub nib, and the pen itself meets completely my expectacions: high quality materials, finishes, performance and QC. No ironies here, only about the name.

 

BTW, on the barrel of my pen the engraving proudly reads "HOIO", though I have not been able to find any state by that name...
