That is exciting news! And your new comparison pic is very helpful to get a better understanding of where it is in the spectrum of yellows. Can't wait until this gets released. I will use it in the juiciest fattest of nibs and make some pseudo-illuminated manuscripts.

I am delighted this has helped. PLEASE share some of your work. I am crazy about illustrated manuscripts - I would be very excited to see what you will do with these inks!

I said elsewhere that I have my eye on the Blue Pearl (so pretty!), but all of these inks look fun!

That is one exquisite colour. The base blue is very rich and luxurious, the silver just does wonders with the deep blue which shades very nicely.

This is the closest I have come to in finding a replacement for Sheaffer's King's Gold, with clout!

Is this a true shimmer, or is it more a glitter as found in 'glitter' gel pens?

Have to get this (and the whole set)! How do you think these inks will fare in vintage flex pens?

 

With good pen hygiene and more than regular flushing between refills, I believe all should be well. The shading will be spectacular in a vintage flex. I used my beloved Jinhaos and pushed them to get flex. Do please share some images, it would be super-exciting to see what magic you will create!

Thank you Sailor Kenshin. I see it as a true shimmer because it doesn't have that 'shiny' appearance that gel inks have when dry. This behaved like FP ink with the added lustre/ shimmer. Very attractive. And if you have King's Gold you are in for a treat - especially when the ink evaporates a little!

Thank you for sharing the link. INKcredible! I LOVE the Aikin Lambert "The Skywriter" and congratulations on the fantastic restoration! I restored a W12 and it polished up like a dream. The gold (polishing) cloth did wonders for the nib.

I'm off to stare at the website and see when it's available for me.
