Rotarypen Kenpen Wick Replacement

Hi all, I've posted this in the Repair Q&A but have had no hits. PenHero.com suggested I post in the Japan-Asia forum here.

 

I have two RotaryPen KenPens. The wicks in each are no longer wicking ink to the tip, probably from sitting unused way too long.

 

Are there ways to wake up a wick? I found a Nib Creaper wick that I think might fit, am in the process of obtaining.

you can probably try soaking the wick it would take some time but I think it could be done
