Bandless Parker Duofold Question

I recently acquired an early Parker bandless lady Duofold. It's in good shape but the nib and feed is missing. Is it worth restoring and finding a nib and feed? What is the value if I find the nib and feed?

That's a nice pen! Personally, I would probably just leave it the way it is, without the nib and feed. It is WORTH finding a nib and feed for, but I don't feel like it NEEDS to have them, from a collector point of view.

It looks like it has the original paper price and model label.

 

I suppose if you wanted to sell it, it would be worth more with the nib and feed.

Yup it has the original sticker.....$5 back in 1922!

These early Lady Duofolds have the same dimensions as Juniors. So, a Junior feed and nib should fit.

...shouldn't be too hard to find.

IMHO, it should not be too hard or too expensive to get a nib and feed. BUT - at that point - just keep it and love it, but don't use it.

 

It is a great specimen in totally unused condition. There are plenty of nice pens out there to ink up and carry around. This is one to just show off.

Interesting is the black paint which the imprint highlightens. I always was thinking white was original...
