Wait, the powder to mix one quart is available again on ebay from a different seller.

I got some Thistle Blue/Black ink powder years ago. I've just looked on ebay.com.au and a search on Thistle Blue/Black and other variations didn't show up anything. Is it once again sold out? What was the price this time?

I got some years ago, and it's a quite useful ink  .

P&M Cigar, P&M Fuyu-gare, Shousaikan Seiran, Pilot Iroshizuku Kon-peki, Kobe Van gogh Cobalt

I have all of these except the Fuyu-gare. The Shousaikan Seiran is spectacular. Right now I have a Sheaffer Legacy stub inked with it--amazing!

I have all of these & my favourite of the 5 is the Seiran too. My 3rd favourite ink overall.

Caran D'Ache Caribbean Sea. I mulled over buying one of the last remaining bottles online but, having just started out with fountain pens, I wasn't convinced that paying £15 for ink would've been a wise move. I think I've managed to find a worthwhile substitute, in Diamine Marine, but I doubt I would be so hesitant if I was one click away from owning a bottle of Caribbean Sea, nowadays!

Hey, when you are bored with that Legacy, it can come visit me.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Just a visit? Or potentially establishing a permanent citizenship in one of the Diplomatic Cabinets of Inky-ness?

Susemai (at the time) Blue Diamond. This was truly my favorite ink ever.

Blue Diamond had the smallest run due to a mixing error on my part. However, it was AMAZING.

I love the Susemai powders and wish that Red and Green Cashmere and Blue and Green Diamond were released for sale. I'd gladly pay for them.

Very spooky, as I filled two pens yesterday with Green Cashmere and wondered silently if it was my favourite green

I have about 50ml and a sachet but I'm not sure if the sachet is the real Green Cashmere or its lovely dark grey purple cousin . . . :yikes:

The last batch of magic cashmere had a lot of different colors, but dang, it was an example of why the powdered inks are so awesome. You can make any ink more colorful and have better behaviors!

It's one of the sterling ones that were made from leftover stock for the Washington/Richmond series. My major worry, other than that it will get up and walk off to Las Vegas :) , is that one of the cats will see this shiny thing and want to play with it.

I now own three Legacy pens, two are those silver blanks and one is the barley corn pattern. I LOVE THEM.

Can you tell me more about any powdered inks that you know about? I only know about the

Thistle Blue/Black that was offered years ago and is now gone, and about someone who was going to sell powdered inks some years ago, but I think the project got derailed.

Powdered inks really save on shipping. I can buy distilled water nearby for a lot less than it costs to ship some with dyes in it  .
