Finding Hard Wax In The Us

Can someone suggest a good source in the US for hard sealing wax without wicks? I notice that Amazon.co.uk sells Pelikan sealing wax, but it's quite expensive and I'm not sure if it's the hard kind.

I bought some "Bank of England Original Formula Breakable Wax" from Nostalgic Impressions. It is hard and brittle and did not survive the treatment from the USPS, even though it was inside the envelope. Send me a PM if you are interested and I will send you a sample (blue)--I have more than I need.

A good hardware store usually has large bars of red, brittle sealing wax. People used to use it for sealing canned foods (maybe still do). A rock shop will have "dapping wax" which is brittle like sealing wax. The last lot I bought is green and was cast in smaller pieces and is easier to handle than the red canning wax.
