Parker Oversize / Maxima Parts?

I picked up a golden brown oversize Parker Vacumatic recently at The Hwy. 127 Yard Sale. It has the speedline filler and it has the two tone arrow nib, bottom jewel on the blind cap and a wide band with a small box for a monogram on the cap. The date on the barrel is "0.". However, it is missing the cap screw, arrow clip, and cap jewel.

 

How hard will finding the parts be and what price should I expect to pay when I do find them? Thus far my searches on the net have yielded zero results for the clip and jewel.

 

Any suggestions on sources?

 

Also, is the pen technically an Oversize or a Maxima?

 

Looking forward to seeing it back in writing condition.

you could try fivestarpens or vintagepens and there is always ebay. prices vary depending on condition. it might end up being cheaper to buy a whole new cap.

This pen is a Senior Maxima model. Clips and jewels may prove difficult to find, at least cheaply.

The secret is that a clip and jewel from a 1st Gen Standard (middle size 3-band model) or a 1st Gen Junior (2 band, same girth as Standard, a bit shorter) will fit this pen, although they are not correct parts for this year. Finding the correct parts will take longer and/or require more money. If your goal is just to get the pen to a state where it is writing and can be carried, I suggest you look for these parts instead.

Thank you all for the information. I have emailed several of the suggested vendors and thus far only one has replied (who may have the retaining screw). It may be that they are all still settling in from returning from the DC show and will reply soon. I couldn't make the DC show but may be able to attend the Ohio show. I have been told it is a good show for vintage pens and parts. Perhaps something may turn up there if I don't find something before then.
