From the left #4 is a Pelikan 140 or a 300 ( should be a 140 because it´s more commum)

The content of the tray is awasome!!

Love those Original of Their Time models. Always go back and forth about which I like better, Jade or Lapis. Pisco nailed the ID. That M800 next to the jade isn't bad either.

Edited to fix autocorrect's poor judgement.

PELIKAN - Too many birds in the flock to count. My pen chest has proven to be a most fertile breeding ground.

That's what happens when you type on your phone quickly and don't read the havoc autocorrect has caused. Sorry Pisco.

Polly, what a lovely group of pens! (Two I do not recognize; but they are the non-Pelikans in the picture)

Are we allowed to ask the story behind this photo? I have one of each of the two about which you initially asked -- and love them!

Chris,

The story behind this tray of pens and 24 others is a gentleman from CT who sadly passed away last year. I am appraising his collection of about 300 + fountain pens but also some pencils.

Thank you, Polly: it is always sad to hear such things; but what a marvellous collection -- I am green with envy...
