I'm hitching a ride on this thread so it will appear on my list. Some great quotes here!

A favorite of mine:

Do good by stealth and blush to find it fame. - Alexander Pope
Sorry it isn't handwritten. FPN tells me I'm maxed out on posting photos. I know there's a way to keep posting images; if someone can tell me, it would be most appreciated!

I post to my (free) Flickr account then use the IMG tags and the Flickr "share" feature (editing the Flickr link).

I have a Flickr account; I'll go there and see if I can figure out what "IMG" and "editing the link" mean.

ETA: Thanks for your advice, but I've gone to my Flickr account and don't understand what you're suggesting I do.

OK.

updated:

From your Flickr Photostream, select the image you want to share/post here.

When that photo's [age opens you will see a curved arrow at lower right. pointing to the right. This is the "share" button. Click on it.

You will get a "pop up" with tabs across the top:

Share", "Embed", "Email", amd "BBCode". Select "BBCode".

Select the image size you want displayed.

There will be a small window with the link text ("[url=...) Copy this text (it should already be highlighted).

Paste the text here. The first part will display the image here. The rest is a textual link back to your Flickr account.

Note: in the example below, I changed square brackets to angle brackets, otherwise it just shows the image. Even with this, the post changes some to parentheses.
