I'm irritated at myself for this quote because the horizontal stroke of the "T" I do in calligraphy practice has bled through my slanted cursive, which I don't like, not one bit.

Pen: Generic with original Lamy F nib.

Ink: Rohrer Klingner Sepia.

Failures, mistakes, mishaps and misunderstanding are the most instructive, but nothing boosts my joi-de-vivre like a good old, tiny, modest accomplishment.

Pen: N/A, F.

Ink: Diamine Midnight.

A person who never made a mistake, never tried anything new.

A. Einstein

I sometimes wonder if all the quotes attributed to A.E. are really his.

I write in different ways depending on paper, pen, and/or circumstance.

Freddy, your last quote, the one by Michael Cohen, is absolutely terrifying. I wonder how it would look in a movie!

Anyway, this is my Italic scrawl, tightly spaced letters and non-tightly spaced letters.

Pen: Pluminix B.

Ink: Rohrer Klingner Salix.

You cut with what?

With scissors?

There were no mirrors?

You said there were about 16 barbers?

You cut the hair of how many women in one batch?

Found this quote in this thread, when I first opened it, months ago, and I wrote the quote down in my quote journal.

The shade of the ink is too light in this scan, I don't know why I didn't adjust it with Photoshop. My apologies.

And I have no idea why the scan shows such a sandy or grain-like texture in the letters. It's not that bad in person.

Pen: Generic Lamy style F nib.

Ink: Diamine Sepia.
