I forgot to thank the original poster of this thread. Thank you for starting a wonderful thread.

This is an old quote from my quote journal. Judging by the time period it's either from a literature textbook or an historical romance novel.

What a nice Neruda quote.

Your well-spaced handwriting is a joy to see.

Thank you for posting that.

Another stunning ink you've shown.

Diamine Matador is such a rich color.

This is the first that I've ever heard of it.

You have excellent taste in colors.

Thank you for posting this.

Tom K~ Thank you for those kind words. Royal Blue-- Loved your quote! (I confess to getting help translating it... now I have only to figure out what LOTR means : - )

Here's another Neruda, with a Pilot Custom 74 (M nib) and an unknown Pilot ink--probably Pilot/Namiki Blue, on Clairefontaine Triomphe paper~

So sorry, LOTR stands for Lord of the Rings. Actually it rhymes so it goes in the poetry thread, apologies.

Fred

Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day;

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because their words had forked no lightning they

Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight, And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,

Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height, Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.

Do not go gentle into that good night.

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

I don't usually listen to English-spoken rap because most of it flies above my head, too quick and mumbled for me to follow, but this song at the end of the movie "Bright" was pretty easy.

Machine Gun Kelly ft. X Ambassadors & Bebe Rexha - Home

Pen: Wing Sung 3008 with Lamy Z50 F nib.

Ink: Pelikan 4001 Royal Blue with a drop of J. Herbin 1670 Rouge Hematite in the breather hole. (many thanks to Lgsoltek who suggested this trick!)

Paper: Local.

++ Yes, thanks for doing this cool demo of Lgsoltek's trick! (Also loved your Diamine Midnight ink on the previous quote... Will have to add that one to my list!)
