Are They Blue Or Green? Quick Comparison

Great comparisons and splashes - thank you!

Recently, I started using the Waterman Mysterious Blue that I'd put away nearly two years ago after the shift from pretty, dark blue to a shade of Iroshizuku Tsuki-yo (which I have, also). But using it in a Platinum Preppy (0.3) -- it's a nice, pretty blue, perhaps a bit "soft."

Put it in a Nakaya Piccolo (M), though, and it does that color shift again! So mysterious, hahaha!

Going to keep using it in the Piccolo. Out of curiosity.

Thank you for this! I hadn't really considered this color group before, but I really like the color in a lot of these splashes/ swabs. Hopefully the colors look that nice coming out of a non-glass dip pen-- I've got samples of Syo-ro and Ku-jaku to try, so fingers crossed!

I'm kind of digging that Ku Jaku.

I call them teal as well, and love them! Thanks for the great ink porn. :)

Thanks for the very attractive photographs. My favorites are the MB, which I have, and the Kingdom Note, which I don't. And of course, it seems that everyone loves Yama-dori.

Agreed, Blue Suede appears to be the exact same colour as Emerald of Chivor minus the gold.

Blue Suede is FAR greener than EoC.
