I have not received it yet.

Okay, if it hasn't gotten to you yet, then I'm good time wise, because that means it won't come until after I get back from the trip.

Great news! That means that it won't be in transit while I'm traveling -- just got home about an hour ago from our jaunt to hot, muggy, flat, Central Indiana (thinking the Coke I drank in the late afternoon will NOT keep me awake in spite of the caffein...).

It is getting closer to me. I have been looking forward to this one. How long is one supose to keep this. Seems like it is moving a little slow.

Yep. That sounds our part of Indiana. LOL

PM sent. Can't wait to see what all other people have done for it.

Guess I should figure out what good inks I have for drawing need to get put into pens. I've been trying to cut down the number of pens in rotation, partly in anticipation of this.

The Travelling Arts Journal is back in the mail and on its way to its next host.

Is 'The Guest' still travelling with it?

Guest? Did I miss something?

Anyway, I'm very excited to see what everyone else has done so far.

'The Guest' was Fountainpagan's idea so has travelled with the book on its royal progress right from the beginning. Another little treat to look forward to!

Anna, it will be inky.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Well the TAJ (and its "stowaway") have made it to the Pittsburgh area. I'm almost afraid to do anything because everyone else has done such cool things. I did however bring it with me to the Steel City Nibs meeting last night and showed it around some.

Well, much as I'd like to keep this longer, I know that there are more people on the list after me. And I have other responsibilities coming up, and also really should NOT bring the book along when I go camping....

Richila, I think you're next. PM me with your address and I should be getting the TAJ and its companion into the mail early next week.

I must say that one of the pluses of having this is getting to play with different pens and inks. Another is that I dug out an small press poetry magazine that published one of my pieces, back when I was in college (the AP exam placed me out of Freshman English, and my advisor signed me up for "Poetry Writing" in its stead). I didn't even know the piece had been accepted until I received my free copy. And I checked -- the magazine, Blue Unicorn: A Tri-Quarterly of Poetry, is still in existence, all these years later (I found their website). So I have real (if meagre) street creds as a published author. B)

Is it too late for another southeastern US pit stop for this lovely book?

Edit: I ship via UPS or USPS at least a couple times a week, so it's not inconvenient for me to mail one more package.
