What has happened to the Traveling Arts Journal? I would love to see what other people added to the book.

We need to ask Alan. I am sending a letter. I can't track addresses and compare to users or user names.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Is this the journal that was sent to me earlier this year? I didn't realize there was a thread about it, or I'd have scanned some of the pages while I had it. At least I can track its progress in this topic now! Thanks to all of the previous contributors for making such a fun journal :)

Since some people were wondering about the journal's current whereabouts, I shipped it back to Amber a few months ago (beginning of March). Not sure where it's been since then!

Nope, it wasn't that one. I am going crazy. I don't remember where I sent it.

I was really stressed and then one of my pen pals told me to chill. It is out in the universe doing happy work.

Funny, I don't know why, but after 2 years on the road, I was pretty sure we would not see the finish result.

Three years have passed, now., and we now learn it is somewhere in the universe: not sure it was the purpose.

I know, and I've beat myself up over it, but on my last consult with the original purchaser, she was very happy with it being out in the universe.

It would be nice to see this going on again - I'd love to join but wasn't here then and I did another travelling notebook for a craft group I belong to, it was nice to read other people's thoughts.

I was hoping to see others' contributions. <sigh>

Yeah, me too. :( I had actually forgotten about it, it's been so long since I sent it off to the (then) next person on the list.

I can only surmise that the journal has run off to Bermuda or some other exotic locale -- but *its* story of course will be that it was stolen by Gypsies.... B)

I remember shipping it to someone - and I thought it was Luma, but I can't recall. I have made myself sick over this and was reminded that I need to chill because being sick didn't help find it. I know it isn't here but I have decided to have faith that it will show back up.

When it was not Alan, I think it was Luma. (I had already scoped the box)

Sorry to hear it's hiding right now. I wasn't around to join when it started either but was hoping I could do it later. Fingers crossed it'll turn up soon! :)

If it was Luma you had sent it to, she (the original buyer) would have not said she was happy the bookwas out somewhere in the Universe, because she would have received it - and Idon't think that was the purpose of her purchasing and initiating the traveller notebook.

As I thought it would happen, an indelicate person kept it. Nothing to do with the Universe.

And, of course, I presume nobody scanned it, is that right?

I scanned it but the computer it was on was the one that was stolen. We were broken in to mutliple times not only did I lose my purse, my keys, my computer but they took the mail each time. If I find a copy of the scans I will post it.

And as for Luma that was her original position and what she stated all along.

You really can't make me feel any worse about this than I already do.

Like the butterfly, it will return to us. Eventually. Richer than it was by the additions of the one who has it now... he or she may be in the process of adding a masterpiece. Those do take time... Don't feel bad, Amber. Not your fault your computer was stolen!
