Is the Taccia Savanna posted here a new edition?

 

I bought mine from a FPH sale at end-2012 and the ends of both the cap and barrel are cut at an angle. And the section on my pen looks much shorter than the one depicted here.

 

Nonetheless, the pen felt substantial in the hand, is an absolute joy to use and the nib is smooth and slightly springy, though i wouldn't call it flexible.

 

It comes with a nice leather case, and a leather holder that slips over the pen's barrel with a clip at its other hand.
