Found this grey striped Watermans lever fill fountain pen at a local flea mart for under $15. I am having a hard time figuring out the model of the pen. The pen says Watermans made in USA and has some Chinese/ Japanese characters below it. The clip also has the same characters and the clip shape is a similar shape to a Parker arrow one. The nib says 502 and other Chinese/ Japanese characters on it. (See Pictures)
Any help on this pen or any information would be awesome.

Thanks :)

This is as good as detail as I could get.

Maybe you could help me out?

Thanks for the pix, but this doesn't look at all like a Waterman FP to me ...

A very interesting pen. Completely schizophrenic. I think it is a Chinese pen made to look like an American pen, without worrying about which make- Parker or Waterman.

For $15, I think you have an interesting item, but you don't have an authentic Waterman pen.

Best Regards, greg

Don't feel bad. I'm old; I'm meh about most things.

I've got a Chinese button-filling BHR pen that seems to be trying to look like an Esterbrook J, whose point seems to have a similar impression. I've been told that the impression on the point indicates that it's from the Long Life factory; if that's a brand you've heard of before, you've got an advantage on me. I've got a close-up of the clip, which apparently also says Long Life; do the characters look at all like what's on yours?
