Just got my pen and I absolutely love it so far. It's much bigger than I thought it would be, but I am pleased by that as I like larger, yet light pens. The nib is also as smooth as butter with a great flow. A neat thing I noticed was it was the same pen in the sample picture for the listing, based on the location of the patterns of the black ebonite! How neat.

My Orange Ebonite Ranga 4C arrived today. It's beautiful. The colour is simply fantastic and no pictures do it justice. It reminds me of the colour of the Akkerman Parker pens. A light terracotta colour. Absolutely stunning. The 4C has a beautiful shape and the contours are mesmerising.

I've been using my 4C almost exclusively since I received it. It really is a beautiful pen. If anyone is on the fence about this GB or even the colour of the orange ebonite, I say go for it. The pen looks amazing.

I returned home today to find some very nice things waiting for me - a new kitten (we're looking after him and his mother for the local animal charity), a Waterman Charleston, and a Ranga blue and white ebonite pen.

 

I'm very pleased with the pen. The ebonite is beautifully swirly, but with a sort of fractal style softness rather than the tiger stripes you often see, giving it a very delicate feeling. A good polished finish. The white is a creamy ivory rather than a titanium white, so the colour palette is quite soft, too.

 

Better fill it up! Can't think what ink to use, though...
