Hari, you've just burst a little romantic bubble about Ranga pens being made from Indian ebonite.

Oh, have I? The regular Ebonite is Indian and the Premium ebonite rod is imported I believe. Mookli's pen has the premium ebonite. HTH.

In case you wish to write to me, pls use ONLY email by clicking here. I do not check PMs. Thank you.

Hi All,

I've been enjoying my pen now for a few weeks. It's a fav among my daily writers. The size is just right, making the feel in the hand a real pleasure. I find the shape elegant and enjoy that the cap closes flush with the body. I look forward to picking up the pen to write.

With previous ebonite pens, the number of turns needed to remove the cap struck seemed cumbersome. Most likely it’s me, but I don’t find that an issue any more. :)

I swapped out the original nib for a #6 M nib initially but eventually chose a #6 F. That’s been working very well now. I’m using R&K Scabiosa.

This was my first Ranga pen. I’m happy to say that there’s another on the way!

Thank you for organizing this group buy.

Ranga Model 4C ED

Color - #9 Burgundy Ripple

Finish - Polished

Clip - Gold colored

Nib - Wality M - Swapped for #6 F

The long wait is finally over, my pen was delivered today, and I'm very pleased with it. I hope to get a photo of it up soon.

A very big thank you to Mehandiratta for his excellent organisation of this group buy, and of course to Mr. Kandan and all of his team at Ranga.
