This was done while watching TV and going through photos of my cat to try my only gray ink and I think I like it. ECO EFine pen at work. Still I cannot draw a cat!

And I was also testing stock paper from Staples... loved it.

Great looking doodles and great cat.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I usually only doodle when bored or to accent letters.
Mostly push the limits of my pen when bored...lol.

Okay, I confess, I doodle when I'm on the phone or in meetings. That way, I never put my pen down. I write notes and I doodle and no one is really sure what I'm doing (except me) and that way, I don't fall asleep when everyone drones on about unimportant stuff.

What about you? Do you doodle? When do do it? Why? And show us your doodles.

This one is a water wash of other notes that were useless and then doodles when I was on the phone. Each ink color was a different phone call.

That is so cool -- both the idea and the execution.

Family heraldic shield, meaning lost to history. At a guess, a rose growing out of thin air, with a rocket going down towards other planets. No doubt the medieval inspiration for Le Petit Prince's rose.
