Here is another random doodle. Feel free to print and go Co-Razy on it!

Sheaffer Student pen (1950's) with '301' nib + Noodler's Bad Black Moccasin

You did that one yourself? I often print mandalas and color, but can't make them look like that. WOW.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

The Red capped, White body pen is a vintage Sheaffer No Nonsense from my daughter.

The White with the black band and red tip is a Pilot U Pen - it's a Varsity with different ink that is supposed to be erasable (it isn't).

amberleadavis, what are you using as a pen stand (lower left corner of the original post photo)? Black cube of some sort...?

Why are there fourteen samples of dark plum ink on my desk? Because I still haven't found the right shade.

Is that a problem...??? : : : sigh : : :

Update: Great. Finally found one I love (Lamy Dark Lilac) but I can't get more. Ah, life in my inky world....

Frank C found these, it was from Dick Blick and it's a paint brush holder. It's just perfect and it holds 25 pens which is the perfect number for my desk.

Mandalas are the majority of my doodles. Love the lines and great practice (for me at least) to improve my control and precision with a pen.

EDIT: Oh, and thanks for providing the names of the pens in your photo. I've never seen either and liked the contrast.

Ahhhh.... Was just at Dick Blick last week. Didn't see anything like this, but then again, I was searching for something entirely different (which, somehow, didn't prevent me from finding the Rhodia display).

Thanks for the info. :)

I'm always doodling, especially at meetings or if I'm on the phone. Most of my doodles are small geometric doodles in the corners of my notebook...if the meeting is very slow sometimes they do get rather large....

Thanks Amber. Unfortunately the Chubby Kid will remain unfinished... I'm not allowed to play with water/paintbrushes at work anymore. May need to slip it into a straw in order to disguise it as a drink (:<

The phrase "dancing carnivorous plants" will not stop bothering my brain lately, so I thought I'd put it on paper.
