Eight bells and all's well. We have randomly selected the winners. Stay tuned.

Sorry, mhguda, but I think they're only available on the 'bay.

Yay to all the winners.. Enjoy them !

Thanks Sailor Kenshin for the fun PIF. I love the idea of the PIF - What a nice way for folks to share.

I will have to think of something fun to do sometime :)

It is a Sheaffer Touchdown, when I replaced the sac it took a lager size so I am assuming it is the first year model before the TM. I am not an expert though. I would be interested in seeing a picture of your set. The did make really good pens, I have an old balance that still writes like a champ. I am a fan of vintage Sheaffers I have collected and repaired a few, I have not had much experience with the newer pens. Not really the same company anymore. I am still hoping to acquire a Sheaffer PFM.

I am not sure I will ever find my favorite pen, but I do have a small list of pens I would like to own some day.

The set I have is also a Touchdown FP-pencil set. It is really a sharp looking set. It is the thinner model, with the *TM* imprint on the lid of the hard case. I got a pretty food deal on it...I believe it is the Sheaffer Valiant TM Touchdown.

I can e-mil you photos when I am back home. I would do it tonight but just put some eye drops in and just see a big blur ! LOL

Please pardon any typos

I ended up doing a lot of unexpected calling, running around, scheduling medical & doctor appointments. Unfortunately, I didn't get to leave today for my trip as planned. Luckiiy I was able to get an early appointment in the morning, and car is already packed. Too bad it is an hour+ in the opposite directon :(

If I have a few minutes in the morning,( and I remember ) I will e-mail some photos. I ave found a few great Sheaffer pens - A lovely Stylist, a Coral and a Black Ladies metal barrel cartridge pens ( kind of a lattice design on the gold body & caps ), and a mint scrolled 12K gold ball point pen pencil boxed set - Beautiful.

The black ladies pen still has the white pricing on it, pretty sure it has never been inked. Both have great triumph nibs. I love finding "old" pens among the other dusty vintage things -

Must be the folks around here like Sheaffers :) Getting hard to see the keyboard.. Have a good night everyone !

Congrats to the winners ! Please let us know how you like the snoopy pens. I'd love to know how those grips work :)

I am a sucker for entry level pens. The Snoopy is interesting, but I've always found Pelikan entry level pens, including the Pelikano and the Pelikano Jr. to be as usable as many more prestigious, expensive pens. I'd be glad to add either to my colection. thanks for doing a PIF!

I still need your mailing address. If you're not interested, I'll randomly choose someone else to receive the Pelikan Twist.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

Thanks for the vote !

If you would like to PM me your address I have something to send you - Something for your starter collection :)

Aw! You shouldn't but I do appreciate it. Check your in box!

I don't have enough goodies of the pen type yet to reciprocate in kind, but I'm quick with yarn. Maybe some knitted fingerless gloves or a tiny stuffed monster? or a pair of crocheted cat butt coasters? :D

I've been using fountain pens for a few months now and am trying to expand my small collection slowly. I now have several entry level pens. Both of these pens would be great additions for me, and I do love Snoopy. Thanks for the opportunity to try for these pens.

Since the original Twist winner never responded, I will send this to you and mark this PIF 'Closed.'

Thanks, one and all.

I'm a noob too, and building a collection, and a lover of Peanuts. Although that said, I would kind of like to throw my support behind j-e-g. I'm a speech therapist and we folks who love kids with special needs ought to stick together. :D

Dixiehellcat -

I am just home from holiday and will get your surprise in the mail this week. I got your PM & address.

Sailor Kenshin--

The Pelikan arrived safely today. What a treat, thank you. I had an extra converter so I inked it with the green ink you sent me. That was something new to me, so also greatly appreciated. Michael

Thank you again for the Snoopy pen! I'd had the chance to mess around with it as well as the sample of blue ink, and though it has some feed issues, it is a joy to write with when it gets going, and the graphics make me smile :)

I bought the very same Snoopy pen on eBay. It costs $4.89 with Free shipping from China. There are two other models in red and white. As another Peanuts and Snoopy fan, I had to have it, and am thinking about getting the others.
