It's a great ink.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I don't know if it's technically considered a turquoise, but I recently got a bottle of Rohrer & Klingner Blu Mare (also known as Sea Bluish) and to my eyes it is a gorgeous turquoise-ish blue.

I recently fell in love with Pelikan Edelstein Topaz.

Agree. It's my favourite ink - a little darker and more "luminous" than standard turquoise (which I find too light).

Hi,

In addition to the excellent suggestions above kindly consider:

> Pilot sei-boku diluted with [distilled] water to whatever concentration gives the balance between looking nice in your pen and being dark enough to be highly readable on the page. While most inks tolerate dilution to about 80% concentration, I found Ps-b runs very well down to 10% concentration (1 part ink stirred into 9 parts water.)*

> An iron-gall ink. Due to oxidisation and interaction with the paper, those inks have the potential to darken over time. Hence they can appear rather pale in a pen, but will be darker on the page.

Bye,

S1

How about KWZI iron gall turquoise?

I have it in my 580 right now.

I loved this ink (price, availability and how it looked in my TWSBI 580) until I put pen to paper - too light for everyday use. I ended up mixing 3-4 parts Pelikan Turquoise and 1 part Pelikan Blue-black. The result is fantastic.

The ink looks great in my 580, stunning deep turquoise colour.

On paper this ink is gorgeous, great shading from deep blue, through teal, to bright turquoise.

Its my daily ink and matches my Parker 51 Teal perfectly.

EDIT - I'll put up a photo or scan of this ink as soon as I get a chance ~ 2-3 days.

I couldn't edit my original post so here's the scans I promised (2 weeks ago!)
