Any Diamond Clips That Aren't Painted Blue? Part 2

Not sure what is going on with this pen. It has been sitting in a box since 1998 when my dad died and my mom just put all his pens in storage. The last month I've been going through them and researching them (and becoming attached...). Please see pictures.

Maybe it was altered. The back piece is longer than on the other pens I have from that era that have a lock filler.

Thanks, FarmBoy. I think it's beautiful--looks Egyptian somehow--but I guess maybe it is a "Franken-pen" of sorts.

It's a non-locking filler. Blind cap length is correct. Nib might well be later. Clip is definitely later.

I think I see a lockdown cut though the crown would not be normal for a lock down.

The filer locks into place...should have taken a photo showing it. What is the crown?

Early production Speedline (nonlockdown) fillers had a wider area at the top of the slot. Not sure why Parker did that.
