Does sound like organized Pen Pushing.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Well, we do have a good lawyer...even if she's one of the perpetrators. SC, glad you enjoyed it!

Then we are doomed! DOOMED! Enabled from both sides at once... we will succumb to the Ink-side!

Hmmmm.... a little melodramatic, no? Haha.

I don't see it as a conflict of interest...I always prefer to have my attorney have skin in the game.

Yup. Until it arrives, my inks are duking it out about who gets to go first. Probably Apache Sunset, though. Hard to resist its charms.

Who is its contender? I might place my money on the underdog... but only if he works out to 'Eye of the Tiger' :P

Black Swan in Australian Roses.

Kind of a pushover, though. He never wants to get his hands dirty, and would prefer to keep peace in the inky kingdom.

I just received my Massdrop shipment of all four Pilot Parallel Pens. Very cool! I'll be practicing with these and my older automatic shading pens so I'll be ready when it comes my way.

It is mid transit to chewytulip.

Apparently it took a three or four day vacation in Dallas. It finally made it to NJ yesterday. Edited by ScienceChick

I'm going to call those things "tines" ...even though you could argue that they should probably have a different name.

See how one time is a little longer than the other? I think that's the "top" one, you tilt the pen so it makes contact with the paper. I don't really use pressure, but if there's a slight change in pressure, it's easy for it to dump all the ink on the page, because the ink sits in a little bubble right at the edge.

(Reminder to self: tomorrow, take photos of pen loaded with ink!)

You can get some verrrrrrrrrrry thin lines, in addition to the thick, broad strokes.

I did some other pages, which I'll photograph and upload tomorrow. :)

Very cool! I wonder if the tines are supposed to be aligned but have shifted over the years.
