Amberlea can I make a request? Two swabs: one of PPS on the very edge of the paper and another of Diamine Asa Blue on the edge of another paper. Scanned with the edges touching. Please and thank you.

 

I would need to re-ink a pen with PPS which I can do, but I don't actually own Asa Blue.... so do we have any other takers?

It came out beyond grainy so I blew up a section of the lightest patch and the darkest.

Okay, I've made some discoveries. 1. I hate doing swabs. 2. Swabs feel wasteful even if they aren't. 3. See number one. 4. Blue ink stains keyboards.

More importantly, Diamine Asa Blue looks NOTHING like Penman Sapphire. I didn't think it looked similar but the cutouts made it seem so. That must be an artifact of scanning. Compared to PPS, Asa looks like a Turquoise. Photos coming next.
