Many. Black, Heart of Darkness, Bernanke Black, Blue, Black Swan in Roses, Bad Belted Kingfisher, etc. The only two that I gave away were Rome Burning and Sepia of the Whale. Threw out Red Fox, much too dry. Although, I should retry it, now that I know more about adjusting and tuning a pen. Have some Bad Green Gator that I don't like too much, looking to give it away when I get a chance.

Enjoy,

Yours,
Randal

From a person's actions, we may infer attitudes, beliefs, --- and values. We do not know these characteristics outright. The human dichotomies of trust and distrust, honor and duplicity, love and hate --- all depend on internal states we cannot directly experience. Isn't this what adds zest to our life?

Well, technically I "emptied a bottle of Kung Te Cheng. Knocked it off the bathroom counter. :crybaby:

I suspect the first real "finished" bottle will be 54th Massachusetts -- I use it a lot because it's relatively well-behaving and I like its permanence for stuff like signing checks. I would say that over KTC simply because it's a standard 3 oz. bottle, not a 4-1/2 ounce one (ditto for Heart of Darkness, which I like but I'm not much for black inks). A runner up to 54th MA might be El Lawrence, which has similar permanence and gets away with pretending to be black ink without actually BEING black (it's got this sort of subversive thing going on).

Finished a couple of bottles of Noodlers Black. Then went onto Sailor Jentle Black just because I liked the bottle. Then decided I wanted to try something else, so working my way through a bottle of Waterman Serenity Blue.

I finished off the large eyedropper bottle of Heart of Darkness. Took me a few years of just using that ink--but that was when I only had one pen and used that for everything. Afterwards I was so tired of black ink that I've never really used black since.

Ehh, I gave a bunch away - does that count? I'm not tired of Kung Te-Cheng or Air Corp Blue Black, but haven't finished the bottle yet.

I have finished a bottle of Black. I do have a few open bottles of Noodler's, so I doubt that I'll be finishing any more any time soon.

I'm still trying to figure out how to list all my pens down here.

Truthfully, I have too many bottles of ink. This makes it difficult to finish a bottle.

But, I have finished several bottles of Noodler's Black, and one bottle of Noodler's Blackerase.

I've emptied more than one bottle of Dromgoole's Blue Steel (ask my about the message), and more than four bottles of BSB.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

A large bottle of Noodler's Black, another (and almost finished with a third) of Heart of Darkness.

And I've only been using fountain pens (again, after a long absence) for about two and half years. With altogether too many other inks in the box (and more on the way by USPS).

Do I have a problem yet?

Enjoy,

Hey Randal, is your bad green gator a bright pastel like color? If so, I'll buy it from you. Yes, I'll pay for postage. Ooh, if this is inappropriate I'll gladly delete it.

+1

But I do wonder how long does it take to finish one ;)
