This is a drawing that I did for The Weekly Sketch thread that has been cleverly started by Pira (thanks Pira!). This week's theme was "Toothbrush", and I did an ink line sketch first, but was't all that happy with it on its own. I decided to put watercolour wash over it and now it feels finished. :)

(BTW next week's theme - starting this Sunday - is "Condiment From Your Pantry or Fridge". Anyone who is interested, please join in, it's fun!)

Getting ready to ink this celluloid Delta Journal. I read someone' s reaction to the Diamine Music Set and had to laugh : " Diamine must not be too fond of Wagner." This ink is not too terribly far off from Alt Goldgrun which I love. And Chiku rin too.

I really must stop being such an open book.

Thanks to Cyber6 and migo984 a bottle of this has been in my stash and in my Conklin Crescent filler for a couple of months.

You're dead right amberleadavis. I adore it.

No nonsense, rock solid & a great colour - paper and longevity in pen changes it a little which adds to the magic.

Incredibly waterproof makes it really handy for outlines of sketches that will be washed over :)

Hope you're enjoying it.

It's perfectly legible (just don't forget about the final "s" which looks like "6") and beautiful. We can write secret messages to each other! ;)

I love that Cisele, and love is a little mild.

Same here!

That Kurrent is very interesting! And you seem to be getting quite good at it!

Thank you, it's still a long way to getting really good.

Eli, I don't believe I have ever seen a Parker of this color. What a beauty!

I was torn between this one and Burgundy Demi Duofold (an interesting pen - small body, larger nib). Finally, bought the Junior only because of its color. The nib surpassed my wildest fantasies ;)

+1

It's a treasure1

It is. Thanks!

Please send my best regards to your Grandmother. Her words are very important for me. It means that my "Kurrent boot camp" was something more than entertainment.

Your Ibis writing is very elegant!

Eil, thank you. There were 3 forms for the "s", one of which is the capital version I guess. Until your post with the Duofold, EoC had never heard of Kurrent. This is the first time of trying it out, and a pointed dip pen was used (whether this is the correct instrument EoC is not sure). It is fun though, so EoC will add it to the small list of things to keep practicing!

+++ Breaking News +++ Incident at the Robot party - Kubik the Box Robot heavily damaged +++ Breaking News +++

Today at the Robot party, Kubik the Box Robot picked up a fountain pen owned by Igor the Rat, a fatal decision.

Igor the Rat a local pen nerd which lives at the cellar of the Robot party location got furious.

He entered the body of Kubik through a service hatch and severely damaged Kubik´s internals.

Kubik sank unconscious to the floor.

Experts are not sure if Kubik is now a total write-off, they try their best to repair him.

Afterwards Igor yelled at the Robots: "Nobody never ever touch my fountain pens again" then he disappeared with his fountain pen in the cellar again.

The robots were shocked by this incident but the party continued.
