That's a lovely purple ink. What is it?

Love the Hudson!

I enjoyed your story about the Eagle pen that's been given a second life. It looks like it's writing very well. Well done!

Thanks for the info on your sketchbook. I haven't seen it around here, but that's great value for 50 sheets. I don't think we have Daiso around unfortunately...

SNAK, I saw that Daiso has 6 locations in Australia, I'm hoping there's one in Sydney.

Here's their Australian website: http://www.daisostore.com.au

I have a story to tell... then comments for the wonderful people in this thread!

... my first nib "grind" (breaking every rule about how to grind a nib along the way ... hahahah..)

I laughed. I cried. I grew as a person.

I love a happy ending. The eagle flies again!

Uemuraw, glad you enjoyed the story.

Respect to those who can make their own fountain pen.

Snak, Inkfillet, Coop, Ian well done, I really enjoy your participation !!!

Keep it coming

Kab, I´m looking forward to see your first robot :)

Snak, that Eve dressed up for the party remained not unobserved.

So the others sent the Iron Giant to play gooseberry......

Pterodactylus, I have a question: How come your black lines are not smeared by the washes? Which of the above inks was that?

KaB : The Parson's Essentials Amber is one of the pen I have to have one day, your picture makes it more appealing :)

Eli, Skysora : Glad you enjoy the story

Pen: Pelikan M205 Amethyst (with a 30 degree oblique nib ground from a BBL nib by Mr. Pendleton Brown)

Ink: Pelikan Edelstein Amethyst

Paper: Tomoe River (White)

Very beautiful...
You could take a photo of different sides of the nib...

Off topic perhaps, but we live less than five miles from where that engine ran on its route from New York City to Chicago. (Back when America had a rail system to be proud of.)

This one doesn't have anything new to show...

Cool pen stand! And a cool pen, too. What was the original nib?

Didn't want to scare you! Besides all these robots, there's a flower especially for you :) Glad you like the Streamliner/Skyline combo. Mr. Dreyfuss was a great industrial designer, he created fine pens, steam engines, phones, vac cleaners, - you name it. Even a Polaroid camera (namely, the famous SX-70).

I can only assume its a robot toothbrush. Needs a can of motor oil.
