My unusual choice for the day. Pilot Custom 74 with Pilot Iroshizuku Chiku-rin - Bamboo Forest.

I thought the green would be too light but it's actually a nice change for quick sketches.

An underrated Iroshizuku ink.

Chiku-rin works best, I find, in pens with a generous flow, broad (and up) nibs and/or flex pens.

The color is still a developed taste, but it's far more functional than some would believe

Ink, a drug.

Will always love my Platinum Century 3776 in Chartres. It writes so smooth and effortlessly. My pens for rotation are limited (I am not a collector, just a user)and I sell any pen I do not use regularly...but this 3776 is forever ready to go.

Note: I have started a new thread for fountain pen foodies. It's in the "Handwriting and Handwriting Improvement" forum under "Recipes For Penmen Who Like To Cook." The idea is to share handwritten ideas for cooking.

I'm sorta new here (and new to fountain pens in general).

Does this count as showing how a pen is used?
