... It amazes me that each pen I use are all so different in how it feels in my hand (weight and balance) and how the nib feels on the paper. And there's the ink factor also, so every time I ink up a pen with new ink I feel like it's a brand new pen. Isn't this whole fountain pen thing wonderful? ...

This is the essence of our hobby in just a few words. Quite right about the community, too. Well said, SNAK! Happy writing & gardening!

Today I am switching between ink and graphite. Ink for notes, graphite for stories. Ink is great, but graphite erases, never hard starts, never dries out, never runs when you spill water onto it, and never spills all over your desk turning everything purple...

This 50´s Montblanc with a double broad nib works great with the Blue Lightning as it is a very wet pen.
