EoC believes the design is inspired by Pelikan, but the price is inspired by Tupperware.

What does that mean, you don't like a beautiful pen at an affordable price?

I don't quite see the inspiration by Pelikan that you suggest, but feel this shape of pen has probably been absorbed into the collective consciousness as an avatar of FountainPen...

I'd say, enjoy your pen and consider yourself lucky...

Sorry for flooding the thread tonight, but I will post this and then will go away for the weekend of gardening. :)

This one is another boxer sketch I just finished. Our Sophie is getting old and boxers tend to only go up to about 10 years average, so we are feeling her age, and appreciating her more these days.

(Pilot Parallel Pen 1.5 mm ..... Diamine Blue Lightning)

Love the Blue Lightning! Probably the best in the series for evenness of sparkle.

And the Eclipse may be more than just semi-flex, but doesn't quite get to the feel of the full-flex I have in a couple of Watermans.

She could make me buy anything
Which size did you get? I was thinking about the 3pack, but I only want one.

You'll want all three, it's cheaper per unit hat way. If not my fave is the 3.8.

As for Leigh Reyes, I sometime watch her clips with a cup of tea to chill. :notworthy1:

I've got the 1.5mm and the 3.8mm, both of them are nice. Actually the 3.8mm version's line that it produces is so wide that you fill the paper pretty soon. I'd suggest you to get either the 1.5mm or the 2.4mm.

This was done with the 3.8mm. Ink is Herbin Vert Olive.

And this one with the 1.5mm. Ink is M&M Turquoise.

Thank you so much guys! You are awesome! ;)

I do think I'll stay with the 2.4 though. I have these 1.1, 1.5 stubs and I love them, but I feel the 3.8 would be a bit too wide. Maybe if there was someting in between...

And I just wondered why Blue Lightning is looking so different in your pictures than mine.

Now I realized that I´ve inked up "Blue Pearl" instead of "Blue Lightning"..... Sorry for this flaw......

As an aside, you can get them in "Pirex Papír" shops in Budapest.

Just sayin because it took me quite long to find them in Hungary.

Thanks! I know about them. The site shows these are out of stock, but it can worth an email.

Sorry, this one merely meant that the overall shape of the Baoer 8 Horses looks a lot like a Pelikan m400/600/800/1000, and the price is rock bottom (hence Tupperware). :) There's nothing terribly wrong with the Baoer, although the plastic parts feel lightweight and the barrel, being brass, is a little too heavy for long use. Oh, and the converter it came with was awful. The original nib is actually quite nice. For the price it is hard to beat.

If the pen was not to this one's liking it wouldn't still be on the desk!
