(Pelikan M200 Demonstrator - M italic ..... Diamine Purple Pazzazz)

Amber, thanks for your feedback.

But even your extra wet TWSBI seems not wet enough when I see that it stopped writing in the middle of your message.

I have Blue Lightning tested in a Pilot Parallel Pen, as they are quite wet I had no problems so far.

And as you can see above Purple Pazzazz in the above Pelikan M200 which is also a wet pen.

Thanks Attila, It seems that the TWSBI pens are not wet enough.

Mine again clogged several times.

And as you said the particle dense is highliy volatile so there is no consistency in these inks.

It can fluctuate between very much to almost nothing after some words.

I think this is because the particles aren´t hold in suspension in the ink, they sink down rapidly.

The replacement pen has arrived. An Eclipse (late 1920s? 1930s?) BHR with gold-filled filigree overlay:

EoC believes the design is inspired by Pelikan, but the price is inspired by Tupperware.

For my daily writing, I always tend towards Fine. Nowadays, Platinum Century Soft Fine is my absolute favourite - not exactly flexible, but springy and fun to use. Extended writing sessions, quick notes, doodles - it never let me down.

P.S. Love your Doric family!

I like finer nibs too, although Japanese Fines can be just a little too fine for me at times, and I prefer flexible fine. It amazes me that each pen I use are all so different in how it feels in my hand (weight and balance) and how the nib feels on the paper. And there's the ink factor also, so every time I ink up a pen with new ink I feel like it's a brand new pen. Isn't this whole fountain pen thing wonderful? I am so glad we have FPN and this community of people who share the same passion for pens and inks! :)

Nice ink mix and matching pen colour!

Using a TWSBI 700 along with a pencil and marker.

Nice grouping. What blue ink is in your Blue Vac 700? And what is your mechanical pencil?

Clouds, that wood on the oblique holder is very interesting. Do you know the wood species used? Is it zebra wood?

Love the amber star on your 244. Your handwriting is so NEAT! It is beautiful. As I don't understand what is written, I can enjoy the handwriting even more.

SNAK, the holder was made by FPN member Howard (hzsimms) and is an astonishingly generous gift that far exceeds this one's calligraphy skills, alas. The grip part (and tail finial which cannot be seen here) are made of Koa, and the tail is made of Padauk. The holder is really far too good for people like EoC.

Sometimes need to do the college stuff ....

Preppy 0,2, Diamine Chocolate Brown, Pentel Aquash, tracing paper....

Thanks Attila. Ohhhh but your drawings! Amazing precision, perfect perspective. A big big RESPECT to you, sir. :notworthy1: I really love how the ink was washed over for shading. Also, what is the blue Ackerman ink?

My first inked up vintage pen... I am liking the F nib.

Nice Blue J! Are you going to collect more nibs for your Esterbrook? ;)

Suji, thanks for your lovely words. Beautiful lineup of pens, and even more gorgeous handwriting as usual!

New to posting here, but here is what I'm using:

First is a Shaffer Admiral Snorkel:

Second is a Parker 61 that I found near flawless and uninked:

I really like the colour of your Sheaffer! What have you got it inked up with, any chance of a writing sample?

:yikes: :yikes: :yikes: OMG Ptero, that gold shimmer is absolutely amazing! If I can get that, I don't care if the ink clogs pens. I am narrowing down the Diamine shimmer ink want list to 2 or 3, and this one is in it.

Lucky lucky you! I am going to go and look up those wood species. It is beautiful.

And I look forward to seeing more of your beautiful handwriting (especially flex writing) from that pen holder in the future.

This one hopes SNAK has an abundance of patience, as it will be a very long time indeed before this one's handwriting even crosses the threshold of mediocrity. Still, it is said that patience is good for the soul, so perhaps the time waiting will not be completely wasted! :)
