Please don't stone me, but I HAD a Baoer 801 with a broken nib (I dropped it).

I HAD an Eversharp Fifth Avenue that disintegrated (it crumbled to pieces).

Now I HAVE a Baoer brushed steel 801 with an Eversharp 14K nib, and PR Ebony/Green fingers after the operation.

 

It writes very, very, nicely. I swear!

 

Until you proof it with a tutuguan we dont believe you :bunny01:

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Is that the one with real squid ink in it? I have heard of it but always thought it was maybe gimmicky. Does it write smoothly? Changes colour at all after drying? How interesting.

 

Could we please have the top off (of the pen)? ;) Does the whole Easterbrook nib unit screw into that pen? That would be so cool with lots of nib options.

That looks like a Deccan Advocate - did you have it adapted to take an Esterbrook nib unit? Who does such work?
