The Terracotta looks really sweet in that pen!

Got my long awaited bottle of Chivor yesterday!

I'm so happy I had a sample of this ink! It would've been a real pain otherwise.

The BomoArt planner's paper works really nicely!

Writing with a big nib is like driving a car with a powerful engine and long hood. Makes you feel good all over...oh yea!

Snak: Thanks for the great photos and description of what the "L" in a BL or BBL nib means, with the writing examples. There is always something new to learn here!

Excellent writing sample and explanation thanks

SNAK, thanks for the valuable information about these "L" nibs.

Thank you SNAK! I really appreciate it & love that I learned something new

I am glad the photos of Pelikan Lettering nibs were useful.

I have learnt/am still learning so much from FPN so it's great to be able to give back to the community even a little! :)

Attila, great composition as always. It is a really lovely picture to look at.

I am immersed in the world of pigments at the moment (watercolour painting), so as soon as I saw this photo of yours, immediately my mind was racing to analyse and figure out what mix and layers of pigments could possibly (if at all) reproduce that colour of Chivor ink in the glass bottle. :happyberet:

I was admiring amberlea's and mehandiratta's Ranga bamboo pens for a while, so I thought I would get one for myself and see if I like it. And I do! I enjoy the warm feeling of ebonite in my hand.

Pen: Ranga Bamboo (standard size, Green) with TWSBI 1.1mm nib taken from Vac 700

Ink: Mixture of Iroshizuku Chikurin (Bamboo Forest) and Shinryoku (Deep Green) - Chikurin was too pale for my liking, so I added Shinryoku to vamp up the saturation.

Paper: Tomoe River (White)

That Montegrappa is the very definition of a "classy" pen to me. My only Montegrappa is a horrid little school pen from the 60's that I was told is a model Montegrappa collectors like to forget ever happened. This one, though is gorgeous. I love the nib! And I'm finding that I'm a sucker for the faceted pens, even my TWSBI Eco's!
