Testing out the four different nibs on this amazing set : the blue Arte Italiana can date all kinds of interesting ink colours but in the end needs to settle down with a good blue.

I just received a new hand turned Bubinga wood dip pen from Bill at Turn-Of-The-Century. My pen came with a nice NOS Esterbrook 788 nib and I am using it at home with Yasutomo sumi ink. Bill makes some amazing dip pens and is very easy to deal with, I can't recommend him highly enough. (I am in no way connected to Bill or his site, I'm just a fan.) http://www.turn-of-the-century.com/write.htm

 

Out and about I am using a matte black Sheaffer VFM with J. Herbin Rouge Caroubier.

My two new Kaweco pens. Love them both! The Fireblue is a little skippy, however. I have flushed it with little effect.. :/
