Suji, that pen totally motivates me, what is the nib?

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

I think it's the normal nib that is supposed to come with the Pelikan 100, but I'm not sure. Maybe one of our Pelikan pros can weigh in.

What paper are you using skysora? The writing is very crisp on the page :)

Hi da vinci, it's Tomoe River paper (white). (You can also see a sheet of the Staples Sustainable Earth note pad peeking through... haha.)

I love your handwriting style! So fun! I also Love that Sheaffer Turquoise. I think I need that. I just got Shaeffer Green and love it so this may need to be next

Life isn't always what you make it. Sometimes it just falls in your lap and you have to deal with it.

Thank you - I did wonder if it was TR. Blue inks always look good on TR from what I have seen :)

My 2 TWSBI eco with my favorite nibs.

It's not that the TWSBI nibs are bad, but I like these more.

These are spare nibs that have been used for years but taken out of rotation (hence the faded gold in the pelikan nib).Their bodies with newer nibs have since been sold. They are too nice to dispose so I kept them. Turned out to be a perfect fit for the ecos. I would have used the 580 but I could not justify the cost of the pen for nib swapping.

I was casually talking to a sales rep for a software company at the conference I'm attending and mentioned that I had flown in early to go to the DC fountain pen show over the weekend. She unwisely expressed interest and I was all too happy to show her the pen I was taking notes with, a 1903 Conklin Crescent Filler bought at the show. I enthusiastically volunteered that it was endorsed by Mark Twain in original advertising and described its awesomeness at some length. Perhaps only to quiet me, she said, "When I interviewed for my job my boss gave me the classic 'You want to be a salesperson; sell me this pen' line. You just sold me that pen!"

It really does write like a dream, and it's so satisfying in the hand. It will assuredly enter my stable of daily writers.

I love my Conklin! It's a great pen. Good sales job!
