Gorgeous pen and nib! Is it stubbish? But most of all your handwriting is so fluent and expressive! Beautiful everything.

Thanks for your kind words. The nib is a stubbish broad.

By the way, I have to say that I fall in love with you Capless Raden and stub nib, and with your M101N with vintage nib, as well.

Gosh, you have nice handwriting. How do you like that Noble paper?

It's incredibly nice. It's cream-coloured and has a laid pattern to it that's visible to the naked eye even when it's not back-lit - it just looks really classy. Unlike some premium laid papers like G. Lalo Verge de France, though, the laid pattern in Life Noble doesn't detract from the smoothness of the paper, so there's no resistance against fine nibs (like this Montblanc EF). To the touch, it feels smoother than Leuchtturm1917, and about the same as Clairefontaine and TR. It's incredibly ink-resistant. Just take a look at these ink blots I made with Yama-dori and Tokiwa-matsu.

It's been about 20 mins and the ink still isn't dry, but so far, no colour whatsoever has bled through onto the sheet below. Some water molecules are clearly making their way through the paper fibres though, because there's some wrinkling happening just below the blots, but those sheets below are clear of any dye and will still be good to use.

Here is how it looks back-lit.

Wow, that is nice. I cannot remember the last time I even saw a laid paper.

As you are in Australia (I am in New Zealand) may I ask where you source your Life Noble paper?

I bought it from a brick and mortar store in Newtown, Sydney, but Notemaker stocks it.

Thank you, that's the same price as Nanami are asking, Of course I have to factor in shipping too. May have to look at Rakuten in the meantime.

Well, Notemaker does offer free international shipping for orders over $120 AUD, but that's a lot of paper for sure. :)

Thanks for your comment. The raden is really pretty. Pelikan Starlight/Sunlight/Moonlight are all very pretty too, and I covet them but I know the top heavy feel of the M1000 is just too much for me to handle, sadly.

Just restored this tiny pen for my 5 yrs daughter. Full of delights in her eyes..

Lucky lucky little girl.

Dear Empty of Clouds, I remember the nib on the Osmiroid but, I don't know why, I didn't read the message written with it. I have to apologize.

The Matador brand was manufactured in Germany. They are known to have fantastic flexible nibs. Time ago I made a review in my blog: http://tortugavacumatica.blogspot.com.es/2013/11/tiempo-de-nueces-y-matador-express.html

If you can get one Madador pen, let's go for it!

Apologies for the terrible paper. It was a generic notepad from the Uni.

My pen of the day.

That pen is just a killer.

Life isn't always what you make it. Sometimes it just falls in your lap and you have to deal with it.
