jmccarty3, tkmorrison, and dcpritch, thanks for your nice feedback on my twin P51 pens. I used to dislike hooded nibs, but now for me what excites me is all about what the nib can do, not its size.

That's an amazing flexy nib, but also the chased surface on the barrel is really interesting!

Attila, that photo of ink bottles is beautiful and crisp. I really like that shot. And your drawing of Stewie and Chivor bottle! Did you do that in your new sketchbook?

I personally would LOVE to see more of your shaded writing with Chivor Emerald ink.

Sorry - should have specified that. It's an A6.

A nice and compact traveling size.

Ah, thanks.

I'll have to get one of each now - an A5 & A6 :).

Two new ones.

And my Massdrop of the Pilot Parallel pens showed up yesterday. Haven't inked up the huge 6mm, but did the others. I only got one converter and used that to fill up the 1.5mm with Diamine Asa Blue.

Love the ability to color shift.

Had to run out of town this past weekend up to New Jersey for a funeral. One consolation was we stopped in a massive Antique mall in Verona,Virginia called the Factory Antique Mall. It was huge. And there was a dealer who has a massive set of fountain pens there.

I picked up my first Esterbrook Icicle. I'll get better pictures later, but this is what I'm using this morning.

It's currently filled with R&K Leipziger Schwarz, but when I get the Emerald Chivor, that's going in. It has an "Esterbrook Broad" nib (no number) that looks like it was never used. Fun!

Wow, that's the way luck runs. The last time we went through Verona, there wasn't a thing worth buying there in the way of pens. I'm envious.

Yes, absolutely agree, however, I would replace the word "limiting" with "depriving" :D.

It's a lovely writer, and so comfortable to hold. One of my favourites as well.

I love the fact that it is like Pelikan, nib swapping is easy. Small nibs only, #1 , #2 is a good size.

.....

Those pilot parallel will draw you away from pointless pens. I will loose a friend in ultra flex nibs... :_(

No you won't ;0)

And that's probably all for the better, as I enjoy your posts immensely - both here and on Twitter.

Keep up the good work.

Thank you so much! I'm really happy that you enjoy what I have to share

Thanks! I can feel the limits of my point and shoot, but still does its job :P

I haven't started the skectbook yet, but it's just a matter of days now.

Your blue mix looks really sweet! Ink mixing must be a lot of fun!

Thank you! It's really something that I could made you think about the Chivor than ;)

It means I could really show off its beauty.

That grey looks really nice! I haven't tried too many J.Herbin inks, but I have a couple on my list. Mainly the browns.

To be honest, it still feels strange when I 'make' people spend their money. I'm always worried about what will they think if they don't feel the same about the ink for example. Silly mind... :P

MY currently inked pens on Maruman Mnemosyne. Really smooth paper, but has a strange kind of bleedthough....on the front it looks more like bloodshot next to the letters....
