Had to run out of town this past weekend up to New Jersey for a funeral. One consolation was we stopped in a massive Antique mall in Verona,Virginia called the Factory Antique Mall. It was huge. And there was a dealer who has a massive set of fountain pens there.

I picked up my first Esterbrook Icicle. I'll get better pictures later, but this is what I'm using this morning.

It's currently filled with R&K Leipziger Schwarz, but when I get the Emerald Chivor, that's going in. It has an "Esterbrook Broad" nib (no number) that looks like it was never used. Fun!

These are my grey coloured twins. They both write with juicy line immediately when I put the nib to paper, even after weeks of neglect. They are nicknamed Goldie and Sterlo. I know, tacky names.

Parker 51 Vacumatic (OB nib) in Grey, Sterling Silver cap, Canadian (My Blue Mix ink)

Edited because photos weren't showing. Urghh. I'm no good with this upload thing.

Hi, could you please tell us the blue ink mix?

Many thanks,

Attila, I think you may be aware what your photos of this ink are doing to the rest of us. Great stuff, but its like torture until I can get my hands on some!

... there's nothing truly common about a Vacumatic!

You are absolutely correct - I love my Vacs!!!

Went on a small trip over the weekend and scored this beauty.

Pilot Metropolitan (MR) in titanium with a medium nib. Pilot black ink.
I seem to be on a Pilot kick lately.

Thanks.

Is that the A5 "web" book?

Sorry - should have specified that. It's an A6.

A nice and compact traveling size.

I have seen you use that block printing script before....

I love it, at once classic and very modern.
