Absolutely stunning.

I couldn't decide between this thread and "Stub o' the day". I hope that it's acceptable to post over there and put a link in here. It seems better than posting the same pictures in two places. [Etiquette guidance welcome if I've transgressed!]

Line, I live your writing, pens and colors.

Same nib as the other day, but today I tried it with Diamine Registrar's ink.

The other ink I have been using lately, the McCafferey's is also an IG ink so I thought, "Why not?" Works quite well. And since this nib lays down a fair amount of it, you really see the blue turn quickly into black. Really cool.

Cheers,

Well, David, this one isn't my forum, but in my forums, I allow the same pictures to be posted. More pictures = more Fun IMO. So here is your pen.

Wow! That's clever!

So, the etiquette varies according to the gatekeeper.

I like your fun-enhancing attitude.

Thanks for the help, David.

Thank you! I have tried to learn Copperplate and Spencerian, but I gave it up. The result is I write in some no-name semi calligraphy style which seems to change over time. I love using vintage flexible nibs; they are all different, and they give different to the writing style and writing experience.

This is some special nib! :puddle: Gives great line variation. Is it flexible, too?

gylyf - I am always impressed to see printed handwriting. I tend to write worse when I print.... ;)

Yes, it is an Eversharp, Broad Flexible Nib in a Peyton Street Pens Felton Ink Tank. The variation is wonderful. I don't think they have any more broad nibs, but I'm really pleased with how this one writes. It was a gift.

Hey everyone! A few days ago, I gifted a friend their first fountain pen. We will have another one joining the flock soon! :P

I honestly can't put my Duofold down. It is such a fantastic pen - so much so I can hardly find words for it.

I may start posting here a little more often again too! :)

Good golly Miss Molly! I look at the script but then have to look back at the beautiful pen but then have to look back at the script. What a perfect pair!
