Another gorgeous handwriting! Your lowercase t's are similar to what I am trying (and failing so far) to achieve!!

Fountain pen novice. I am aquiring pens at a frightening pace, I am afraid it might be an addiction... I see I am not alone here on FPN! Latest acquisitions - Platinum 3776 Kumpoo with Diamine Eau de Nil, Opus 88 Koloro inked with Diamine November Rain, Franklin-Christoph Model Pocket 66 prototype inked with Franklin-Christoph Honeycomb.

A great quote and beautiful handwriting! I must confess to wanting to practice more, but keeping away for now from styles. I do admire and respect all the people here who can do them, but I'd like to develop my own personal handwriting. As someone posted (I'll try and check later and give credit) I also like appropriating certain characters or styles into my general handwriting, then I will go also try new stuff, trying to decide what stays and I'd rather chenge. I'll be the first to admit it makes for an inconsistent style! Maybe this will change later on...

Thanks! I'm old enough to have my personal handwriting (or rather three of them - one for each language I use), but my penmanship was seriously undermined by digital devices. For about half a year, I'm trying to restore my writing abilities - and at the same time, learning "new" styles. Here's a sample of my regular handwriting, modified after a fashion ;):

23255687343_b33e36b830_c.jpg

(Hmmm... Actually, it's more about the nib, but I'll just leave it here. At least the script is visible)

I wish you every possible and impossible success in your writing practice!

It looks very tidy and very nice!

Thanks a lot!

First time I have drawn anything in 40 years, apologies.

Pen is a Parker Frontier, ink is own mix of Cyan and a few drops of Montegrappa Black.

A dog! And a butterfly! So nice.

Edit: oops, misspelled the name of the ink... and the 'p's seem all wrong... hope you can read it :)

A challenge indeed. If you thought I won't recognize the famed Asphire, you were totally wrong. How could I?! Have to make my own mix, love the color. Just for the moment, haven't got the second component, so - sorry, wrong guess. Never mind, your fast Kurrent is so aspiring!

Here's my first double broad and vintage pen- the sturdy Pelikan 140! Fast side strokes produce an interesting whistling sound, which makes crossing my t's surprisingly gratifying.

Love this thread! I finally am up to date! I started late, so I went back, read full part I and just today finished part II in time for the end of year, which means I'll start 2016 perfectly!

You read the whole thing?! I wish I could be bothered to...

First sentence should have said, "I use several PENS on a daily basis...." Although the "nib" is accurate, too, as each pen has its own nib :-).

Thanks Attika, I never though how well fountain pens would be for pointillism. I'll have to do some.

Merry Christmas!

Yesterday I wrote the first verse of a Christmas poem by Lucia W. Eames c.a 1909 titled At Christmas-Tide
