Snak, I haven't decided yet what do do with the Pilot Grandee nib... I wanted to disassemble it and mod the nib. Just love the shape of that nib...Seems to be so much "Spencerian" written all over it .. nice soft but not flex....YET. Need a donor body as I dislike cartridges...MB146 or M600 ...

Having some fun with my TWSI .. sorry about the multi posts :D

Ooooooh! Fancy!

Mine's not quite so fancy. But it's easy to tuck into a bag and take with me.

That is my next thing to buy on my list is a pencil case to carry the set on the go. The Speedball ink containers that come with the kit is terrible and leaks even when closed so I would not recommend carrying that box around in a bag as you'll end up with an inky mess and most likely ruin the inner lining. Mine is forever stained in black ink and it does not seem to dry. Week later and I take a paper towel over the black ink well and it still has wet ink.

Inkfillet! That's a drive by! What a great sumgai deal! Congrats! I don't think I've ever seen a Parker 45 stub. But then I don't get out much. :)

I'm with you, I didn't even know there was such a critter. But I knew that listing was probably wrong, for some odd reason. The letters are pretty hard to tell from my F Parker 45, you have to look close.

Inkfillet ~ Way to GO! Good eye :D And you commercial share is great :) I love ads and am always on the lookout for the best seasonal ones (but then I'm the daughter of a Canadian Ad man from the 60s era so it's in the blood)

Eliweisz ~ oh such lovely Sheaffers

Inkyfingers ~ I've been feeling the Osmiroid italic love lately too...it's a nice change of pace

@ injfiklet: Yes they are out there. I have an Italic or Stub myself on one of my 45s. Great nib. Wish I could find some more...

Pira -- Lovely Italics.

RMN -- I wish I have an italic that I love.

Eli -- My dream would be a Snorkle Flex and PFM 5 (flex) but they don't make PFM 5 flex.

Pen: TWSBI 580 + Osmiroid F

(Come to think of it my Osmiroid is not a true Crisp Italic .. ..+>> back to the sanding board.)
