Turquoise Ink

I highly recommend Sheaffer Skrip Turquoise as a very nice, well behaved, trouble free turquoise. It's fairly close to the Peacock Blue, but just a little different.

Two great turquoise inks: Diamine Steel Blue and KWZI Iron Gall Turquoise

Waterman Inspired Blue - works wonderfully well in all of my pens.

I personally was not wild about the DA Document Turquoise -- it had a lot of spread.

My favorites are: vintage Skrip Peacock Blue (if you can find it, get it -- the color is just AMAZING); Noodler's Navajo Turquoise; and (although it hasn't been available for a while) FPN member Pharmacist's Turkish Night iron gall ink (starts cyan blue and oxidizes to tealish green -- I was hoping that KWZI IG Turquoise would be a substitute, but it oxidizes too dark to be a true match).

Another Turquoise I like is Lamy Turquoise. Here's a review:

I'm still trying to figure out how to list all my pens down here.

Hands up: I am an turquoise ink hoarder :))))))))

MB Honore de Balzac is the holy grail of turquoise ink - get it while you can...they do occasionally appear on ebay

second choice is a little strange: Sheaffer Skrip Turquoise

it is the most vibrant bright turquoise...and I hate to admit it, because it's so cheap  but it is just lovely

With less than a half a bottle of turquoise Quink remaining, I fill with Sheaffer Turquoise or Lamy Turquoise.

I have been using turquoise ink in my work for 30 years as an accountant, I used Parker quink till discontinued then Montblanc that was discontinued about 3 years ago, at a loss now where to get any more. I have had to start using the pilot varsity pens, but I prefer to work with my 51's. Any ideas

You didn't mention if permanence is a requirement for your accounting work. As much as I like Noodler's Navajo Turquoise, I set a glass down on a to-do list written with it and the condensation from the glass obliterated my writing. On the positive side, I now have fewer things to do.

Why didn't I think of that. Use washable blue for the "To-Do" list and then use it as a coaster. Here in Nevada, we don't have much humidity, so I might have to spill something on it, too. Good idea!

Diamine Havasu Turquoise and Lamy Turquoise are favorites of mine.

Goulet Pens has an 8 vial Turquoise Sampler for $9 - sounds like fun.
