Got a 9284 as part of a buy on the Bay.

 

Man, do I love this nib!! Had to write a retainer check to an attorney today, and I had so much fun writing the check I almost forgot the amount.

 

Used with Swisher's Midnight Black and it looks great on the page.

 

As requested, a sample. Poor picture, but I'm learning!

The secrets out. The x284 nibs are my favorites too. I've got a 2284 that makes its rounds from pen to pen. I think it's sitting in a red visumaster right now. Time to resurrect that pen, me thinks.

You should consider a free account at Photobucket - a service that hosts pictures that are easy to post to the FPN (something about dynamic vs. fixed addresses).

in the meantime - you could send it via email and I could host it for you. I'm sure I'm running out of server space but I think I have room for a few more pics for the time being.

Let me take a look at home I think I might have one. It's been used. There is also a 9284- signature/ music stub nib as well.
