This ballpoint pen from Parker is called Insignia in India. But, this is quite different from standard Insignia.

So :

1. Is this exclusive to India ?

2. Is this unique or based on some other Parker model ?

Please repost your question in the Parker sub-forum. since your question refers to a Parker product, you are more likely to get an answer in the Parker sub-forum.

But, my hunch is that since most members here on FPN are from the USA or Canada or Western Europe, we maynot know details about an Indian Parker ballpoint, or what may or maynot be available or was available in Bharat Mata.

Well, I have been gone from Bharat since the early 1990s, so, I left before Parker introduced Parker pens back in India.

As it is about a ballpoint, the "It writes, but...." is appropriate.

In this particular case, the Indian subforum might be the better option, but I'm not sure about that either.

I will transfer the topic there for now.

The Insignia line seems to have a lot of variants, you just might have the latest one, before it has been discontinued.
