Alternative To Akkerman Staten-Generaal Rood

Hey guys!!

 

While randomly browsing the net, I found a review of Akkerman Staten-Generaal Rood, a really lovely pinkish red / redish pink that kind of reminds me of Pelikan Edelstein Turmaline.

 

It seems that Diamine is behind Akkerman, so I was wondering if there is an ink in their regular line close to this specific shade.

Maybe Diamine Scarlet? There's quite a lot of Diamine Scarlet scans and the color ranges between pink and red with pink undertones. If the color on Diamine site is close to reality it may be good match. However I haven't used any of these two inks so it's just a guess.

Thanks for the suggestion. I 'll get me a sample, although Scarlet seems to be way more vibrant in the scans.
