The nib is a tribute to Sheaffer's conical Triumph nib. I have a couple of those WS. Unusual look, not bad for the price.

My latest ebook.   And not just for Halloween!

My other pen is a Montblanc.

I bought a Wing Sung 234 (with similar nib) a few years ago for very little on eBay. Good writer.

Indeed. 233 results for Wing Sung fountain pens and the 233 in maroon is the first result I get under best match.

In these FPs there are two varieties - one has fixed converter & other type has detachable converter.

I put my savings to test

Lamy & Pilot FPs the Best

No more I even think of the rest

Pen is meant for writing - not for looking :-)

hi irfan,

did you try this?? This seems similar to 233 but is flashier (probably a lil expensive as well)

Also, try getting from china directly...seems like a decent price but might take longer to ship.

@ Ifrandoc, most likely you are looking for Wing Sung 233, because that was the most common in our school days. For your information thee are two variants as follows:

a) One with stainless steel cap- the nib is all gold colour.

B) Other with Gold plated aluminum cap- the nib is two tone chrome and gold.

At Kolkata you can get this pen with Calcutta Pen hospital, cost comes rs 250 to 500 depending on condition. I have also found parts with this vendor. Person name Mr. Riyaz Ali.. Phone 98310088650. You can speak to him and place your order, I am sure they can arrange. Good luck.

I am willing to buy this model, looks attractive. But I am getting only the golden-capped ones on eba.in as well as on amazon. Does the golden colour fades away after time passes?

pls check pensindia.com under fountain pens they have some colors of this - black, red and golden

all for 400

I bought one from ebay earlier - but the nib seems too stiff and fine + scratchy
