Stipula Etruria Filling Mechanism - Help Needed!

I recently bought a Stipula Etruria and I am having difficulty filling it.

I tried an international converter but this does not fit. Neither did an international (short) cartridge.

The problem seams to be that the barrel is too narrow inside.

I notice that the barrel has metal threading way up. You can just see this in the photo below.

I have read here about converters and removable pistons. Can anybody explain what I need to do?

This Etruria does not have the piston nob. It has gold trim and it has an 18K nib.

Is this the "Convertible"?

Is this Media 1 as opposed to the Grande?

I'm only guessing but does Stipula have its own proprietary converter?

I think it uses standard converter
