Nice purple/bordeaux colour. Smooth and wet as other Sailor inks (not including STORiA pigmented inks).

Sheen

Great golden sheen. Very wet pen used to ensure maximal sheen. (Sorry for the shaky hand and blurry photo)

Comparison

Some similar colours compared. R&K Alt-bordeaux is a close one. SPP is more saturated, more sheeny and slightly redder.

This is the only ink out of my hundreds of bottles that I hoard & guard in a lead-lined, Kryptonite-studded vault, buried inside a mountain, protected by razor-wire, watch towers, killer dogs & nuclear missiles. Nothing else I have comes anywhere close to this one.

Which one did you choose?

Happiness - a green ink. It was a colour range I don't have at all and usually stay away from, but from the pictures I had seen I quite liked the shade
